It’s Tarot Tuesday! Time to assemble your coven, head to The Chintz, and get together with friends for this relaxed Cards & Cocktails event. Our cartomancy taster workshop is a perfect pre/post-dinner activity after a lazy day at the beach, or to wind-down after a long day at work or Uni.

Discover the craft of cartomancy and explore different methods of divining the future through card readings. Learn about ancient magical correspondences and symbolism, browse our unique collection of decks, and practice basic Tarot readings on one another, guided by your host. By the end of this workshop and practice session, you’ll confidently interpret a simple Tarot spread... but are you prepared for what the future might have in store?

Held in a private room at Falmouth’s most vibrant venue, your group will enjoy a 45 minute workshop, 20% off cocktails and mocktails for the duration of your 2 hour table reservation, a delicious cheeseboard to snack on, and a free Tarot deck to continue practice reading for each other when the session ends. Take a pew, cast some cards, and soak in Brewery Yard’s lively, cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Advance booking is required. Online bookings close 3 days before this event and we do not accept walk-ins due to limited availability.

Larger groups:

The maximum capacity of each workshop group is 8 people. For larger parties of 9 or more people, we recommend that you purchase consecutive slots (if available), staggering your workshops across the evening to accommodate more guests. We offer five consecutive workshops per night. While some of your party is in their workshop, others can enjoy drinks at The Chintz or its neighbouring bars and restaurants.

Access:

The Chintz is accessed via a steep flight of stairs and we regret that wheelchair access is not available. We may be able to arrange a nearby, alternative, wheelchair accessible location for your workshop, subject to availability. Before booking, please contact us in advance to discuss your requirements.

Cancellation Policy:

For group workshops, cancellations made 7 or more days in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 3 to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 3 days of the workshop. Rescheduling follows the same timeframes as cancellations, and if rescheduling isn’t possible, the cancellation policy will apply. Thank you for understanding the preparations we make in advance of your workshop.
