Jordi: Tarot & Astrology

Jordi is an IPHM accredited holistic practitioner, specialising in tarot, oracle readings and astrology. He is studying a Ph.D. in magical folklore and cartomancy at Falmouth University. He is represented as a tarot reader and astrologer for events by Julia Charles Event Management.

P. J. Wood - AKA Jordi - grew up in Essex, otherwise known as “Witch Country”. Born on the Winter Solstice and a Scorpio Rising, he’s a Sagittarius Sun and Capricorn Moon with Cornish ancestry who has always been curious about mythology and the magical.

Jordi is a Ph.D. student at Falmouth University, where his research centres on cartomancy and fairy tales. As a writer and illustrator he has authored two books of magical folklore for Penguin Random House, written screenplays for the BBC and Channel 4, and created and illustrated a tarot deck - Tarot Pantheon - for Chicago publisher Crossed Crow Books. You can view his full professional bio and press at petejordiwood.com and he is represented as a writer for television, film and publishing in the U.K. and U.S.A. by C.A.A., United Agents and the Rogers, Coleridge and White Literary Agency.

Jordi picked up his first tarot deck as a teenager and has been collecting card decks ever since, reading for friends and strangers on his travels. He studied at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London, where he learned to draft traditional natal charts by hand and interpret the stars.

Jordi’s tarot readings use his own illustrated tarot and oracle decks to craft readings that fuse mythology, folklore, astrology and classic cartomancy.
