What We Offer
Basic Witch provides professional tarot readings and astrological natal chart consultations for events of all kinds… holistic retreats, University events, hotel & leisure activities, weddings, music festivals, product launches, corporate conferences, cruises, Halloween parties, and more. Based in Cornwall, we travel across the U.K. and internationally, bringing our magic to venues from yurts to yachts.
Basic Witch can be booked for half-day afternoon or evening sessions, full days, or multi-day events.
Each booking includes:
• A professional tarot reader / astrologer
• A portable, atmospheric tarot setup (cards, tablecloth, signage, crystals, decor) and / or a portable printer for natal charts for guests
• A minimum three-hour session of tarot readings / natal chart consultations
Guest capacity:
1-2-1, individual 5-10 minute tarot readings or astrology consultations for up to:
• 20-25 guests maximum: half-day/evening
• 40-50 guests maximum: full day
• 80-100 guests maximum over a weekend
• 120-150 guests maximum across a 3-day event
Don’t require readings for this many people? For smaller parties of between 5-12 people please refer to our alternative group bookings service (please note: small group bookings only take place on location at our tarot parlour in Falmouth, Cornwall).
Our Rates
All UK prices include:
• Professional tarot readings / astrology consultations & natal charts
• Set-up with tarot cards, signage, crystals, chart printer and magical vibes
• Reasonable return travel expenses, including venue transfers, by train, flight, or taxi (please note: venues located in difficult to reach or remote areas may include additional travel fees for taxi transfers if located more than 5 miles from an airport or train station).
• Accommodation for long distance or evening events.
(International events & cruise entertainment contracts will incur additional fees for travel, visas and accommodation - see below for further details)
Cornwall (Falmouth & Penryn)
• Half-Day (Afternoon, 3 hrs, max 20-25 readings) – £285
• Half-Day (Evening, 3 hrs, max 20-25 readings) – £350
• Full-Day (6 hrs, max 40-50 readings) – £600
• Multi-Day (6 hrs/day, max 40-50 readings/day) – £500/day
Cornwall (outside Falmouth & Penryn)
Includes reasonable* travel expenses to/from venue (local train + return taxi to venue from station).
Accommodation included for multi-day bookings.

• Full-Day (6 hrs, max 40-50 readings) – £800

South West (outside Cornwall)

Nationwide (rest of UK)
Includes reasonable* travel expenses to/from venue (long distance train or flight + return taxi to venue from station/airport).

• Multi-Day (6 hrs/day, max 40-50 readings/day) – £1000/day

International & Cruise Events
International events are billed per week that a reader is travelling away from home. One week includes:
- 3 full working event days: £700 per day (6 hrs per working day, max 40-50 readings/day)
- 4 travel / rest days: £350 per day.
Private Accommodation (Hotel Room / Cabin), Flights, Transfers, Visas – Quoted on enquiry, or arranged by host.
Estimated weekly total price from £3,500 + Travel, Visa and Accommodation fees (if not arranged by host).

Booking Terms & Disclaimer
At Basic Witch, we love bringing a touch of magic to your events by connecting you with experienced, professional tarot readers. We get dozens of requests for events and our owner, Jordi, can’t attend them all. Therefore, we sometimes act as a booking agent, pairing you with trusted independent tarot readers and astrologers who share our high standards.
Please note that tarot readers and astrologers we introduce you to for events - other than Jordi - are not employees or representatives of Basic Witch — they work independently, and are responsible for their own professional, liability and travel insurance. We only recommend the services of tarot readers who have made in-person guest appearances at Basic Witch in Falmouth, and whom we have personally interviewed and regularly work alongside. Once your booking is confirmed and your deposit is paid, your service agreement is directly with your assigned reader, not with Basic Witch, unless your assigned reader is Jordi.
All readings are offered for entertainment purposes only and should never replace professional advice in legal, medical, financial, or psychological matters.
If, for any reason, your confirmed reader becomes unavailable, we’ll do our utmost to arrange a suitable replacement from our trusted network to honour your booking. We take pride in ensuring your experience is smooth, magical, and stress-free.
Liability & Insurance
All tarot readers, astrologers and event organisers are expected to maintain their own appropriate insurance coverage, including public liability and personal accident cover, to protect against any injury, illness, loss, or damage that may occur during or in connection with an event.
Basic Witch is not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, accident, illness, delay, or damage arising from or in connection with a booking, whether caused by the reader, the client, event venue, or any third party.
Payment Terms
• A 30% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking, payable via a secure link that we’ll send by email.
• The remaining balance and any additional travel or accommodation fees are due no later than one month before your event start date. Your assigned tarot reader or astrologer will send a friendly email to introduce themselves and a reminder with a secure payment link two months before your event.
• Please note: the reader will not travel to your event until full payment has been received and confirmed.
• All payments after the initial deposit are made directly to your assigned reader, as your contract for services is with them, not with Basic Witch. Any complaints or disputes about their service must be directed to the reader, not to Basic Witch.
Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations made more than one month before your event start date: your deposit is strictly non-refundable, but you will not be required to pay any remaining balance or travel/accommodation fees (Visa costs incurred are non-refundable for international events).
• Cancellations within one month of your event start date: the deposit, any remaining balance paid, and any travel, accommodation, or visa fees are non-refundable.
If Basic Witch or your reader must cancel:
• We will always give you as much notice as possible.
• We will do our utmost to provide a suitable replacement reader from our approved network.
• If we are unable to provide a replacement, we will issue a 100% refund of your deposit, any final balance paid, and any travel or accommodation fees.
What we’ll need from you:
• A small table & 2 chairs
• A quiet space away from loudspeakers
• Shelter if outdoors (e.g. tent, umbrella, canopy, or marquee)
• Drinking water, W.C. access & a 15 minute respite break per 3 hour shift.
• For full/multi-day events: 1 x hour meal break between shifts.
Please note:
• Readings are strictly 18+ (ID may be requested)
• We follow a clear Code of Ethics and may decline certain topics or third-party readings
• No readings for intoxicated guests
• Readings are for entertainment purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice.
