What We Offer
Basic Witch provides professional tarot readings for events of all kinds—weddings, festivals, conferences, cruises, Pride, Halloween parties, and more. Based in Cornwall, we travel across the UK and internationally, bringing magic to venues from yurts to yachts.
Basic Witch can be booked for short sessions, full days, or multi-day events. We’re happy to tailor the experience to your needs.
Each booking includes:
• A professional tarot reader
• A portable, atmospheric tarot setup (cards, crystals, decor)
• A minimum two-hour session of back-to-back readings
Reading format:
Quick five-minute readings for up to:
• 12 guests/hour
• 25 guests for half-day/evening
• 50 guests for a full day
• 100 guests over a weekend
• 150 guests across a 3-day event
Prefer longer readings? Let’s talk.
What we’ll need from you:
• A small table & 2 chairs
• A quiet space away from loudspeakers
• Shelter if outdoors (e.g. tent or marquee)
• Drinking water & W.C. access
• For full/multi-day events: meal breaks.
Please note:
• Readings are strictly 18+ (ID may be requested)
• We follow a clear Code of Ethics and may decline certain topics or third-party readings
• No readings for intoxicated guests
• Readings are for entertainment purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice.

All UK prices include:
• Professional tarot readings

• Travel time and venue transfers (by train, flight, or taxi)
• Private accommodation where required
(International events & cruise entertainment contracts may incur additional fees)
Cornwall (Falmouth & Penryn)
• Half-Day (Afternoon, 2 hrs, up to 25 readings) – £285
• Half-Day (Evening, 2 hrs, up to 25 readings) – £350
• Full-Day (4 hrs, up to 50 readings) – £600
• Multi-Day (4 hrs/day, up to 50 readings/day) – £500/day
Cornwall (outside Falmouth & Penryn)
Includes local train + return taxi to/from venue. Accommodation included for multi-day bookings.
• Half-Day (Afternoon, 2 hrs, up to 25 readings) – £385
• Half-Day (Evening, 2 hrs, up to 25 readings) – £450
• Full-Day (4 hrs, up to 50 readings) – £800
• Multi-Day (4 hrs/day, up to 50 readings/day) – £700/day
South West (outside Cornwall)
Includes travel, taxi transfers, accommodation.
• Full-Day (4 hrs, up to 50 readings) – £1,200
• Multi-Day (4 hrs/day, up to 50 readings/day) – £1000/day
Nationwide (rest of UK)
Includes long-distance travel, taxi transfers, accommodation.
• Full-Day (4 hrs, up to 50 readings) – £1,500
• Multi-Day (4 hrs/day, up to 50 readings/day) – £1,250/day
International & Cruise Events
All days away from home are billed at a fixed daily rate (including travel and event days).
Flights, transfers, visas, and accommodation are quoted separately.
• All Days Away – £600/day (Min. 6 days, inc. 2 x travel days, 3 x full working days, and 1 x day off)
• 4 hrs per working day, up to 50 readings/day
• Private Accommodation (Hotel Room / Cabin), Flights, Transfers, Visas – Quoted on enquiry, or arranged by host.
• Estimated total from £3,600 + Travel, Visa and Accommodation fees

Payment & Cancellations
Payment Terms:
• A 30% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking (plus any additional fees for international events), payable via a secure link that we will send you by email.
• The remaining balance is due no later than one month before the event start date. We’ll send you a reminder by email, including a secure payment link, two months prior to your event. Please note: the reader will not travel to your event until full payment has been received and confirmed.
Cancellation Policy:
• Cancellations made more than one month before your event start date: your deposit is strictly non-refundable, but you will not be eligible to pay your remaining balance, and we will refund any additional international fees in full.
• Cancellations within one month of your event start date: the full deposit, any remaining balance paid, and any additional international fees are non-refundable.
If we ever have to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, we will:
• Attempt to give you notice as early as possible.
• Provide a 100% refund of your deposit, any final balance paid, and any additional international fees.
