Learn Tarot Online with 1-2-1 Coaching

Learn the craft of Tarot as it was traditionally taught - intimately, conversationally, and practically, sharing ancient wisdom from one person to another… are you the next person to receive this esoteric knowledge? Experience private, online Tarot coaching with P. J. Wood - AKA Jordi - a Ph.D. researcher, folklorist, cartomancer, astrologer, and Penguin Random House author and illustrator from Cornwall, U.K.

Within one month of coaching you’ll have toured the Major and Minor Arcana, learning to both comprehend and speak the language of Tarot. Within two months you will be able to identify the guidance messages hidden within the cards, using the secret techniques professional tarot readers have mastered in order to memorise individual card meanings. Within three months you’ll be proficient in casting cards for yourself and others without reaching for a guidebook, and you’ll be able to confidently perform a range of complex tarot spreads.

Additional slots in our calendar open up for new clients every month, and your first coaching session can be booked up to one month in advance.

🔮 About this 1-2-1 Coaching

The full recommended coaching plan lasts for three consecutive months. You’ll learn the ancient art of Tarot reading through 1-2-1, 45 minute WhatsApp sessions, structured for beginners, with time to practice a reading each session. Guided by Jordi — an IPHM-accredited and insured holistic practitioner — this plan will awaken your intuition and teach you to read Tarot traditionally… with clarity, confidence, and authenticity.

From your very first session, you’ll be casting cards and performing real tarot readings using the Rider–Waite Tarot deck.

You will explore:

• MONTH 1: The secrets and symbolism of the Major & Minor Arcana
• MONTH 2: Tarot’s connections to numerology, mythology, astrology, and the elements
• MONTH 3: How to perform complex spreads confidently — without relying on a guidebook

You will soon be able to deliver nuanced, classical Tarot readings for friends, family, and potentially your own clients too.

🕯️ Ongoing Traditional Learning

Learn Tarot the way it has been passed down for centuries — from teacher to student, conversationally, and experientially. Jordi teaches in the same personal tradition through which he himself learned: sharing sacred, esoteric knowledge, wherever you are in the world.

After learning the basics of Tarot in the first three months, if you wish, you may continue private coaching for as long as you need, exploring advanced divination topics such as:

• Foundational astrology and natal charts
• Creating your own signature spreads
• Publishing your own decks and books
• Establishing your own holistic Tarot practice

🧭 Booking & Rescheduling

When booking, please select a weekly time slot you can regularly attend.

• Each monthly coaching plan includes four 45 minute sessions, attended weekly.
• You may change your time slot once during your subscription period, with 48 hours’ notice.
• When you book your next month of sessions, you can switch to a different day and time-slot if you wish / if available.

❌ Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancel 48 hours before your first session for a full refund.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of your first session are 50% refunded.
• Individual coaching sessions you have paid for but are not going to attend are non-refundable if cancelled on the date of your first appointment per cycle, or during your plan.
• You may cancel or pause your plan at the end of each plan cycle; please email hello@basicwitch.co.uk with your request.
